Hybricon Standard 3U & 6U VPX, VPX-REDI and OpenVPX Backplanes

Curtiss Wright Controls Defense Solutions offers a wide range of standard Hybricon OpenVPX (VITA 65), VPX REDI (VITA 48) and VPX (VITA 46) backplanes. These backplanes include OpenVPX compliant backplanes that are typically used in air cooled or conduction cooled development chassis such as tower, open frame, or rack mount styles; we also offer OpenVPX, VPX REDI and VPX backplanes for ATR and small form factor style chassis. Our standard backplanes support a wide range of standard OpenVPX backplane profiles, including 6U backplane and 3U backplane profiles, as well as standard hybrid backplanes. OpenVPX backplane profiles include several Distributed Topology Profiles as well as several Central Topology Profiles. All profiles include a Data Plane; some profiles include a Control Plane; and some profiles include an Expansion Plane. Many of these backplanes support Gen2 signaling rates of up to 6.25 GBaud, and they are designed to the Signal Integrity requirements of the VITA 68 VPX Compliance Channel draft standard.
