I am originally from Hong Kong but finished my education in the United States. My background is in flight controls, engine controls and UAVs, along with software systems engineering, project engineering and process improvement activities. I joined Curtiss-Wright Controls as a project engineer. It means a lot to me to continue our company’s mission of ensuring the successful executions of engineering projects through careful planning, monitoring and risk management.

I chose Curtiss-Wright because I am excited about the challenges ahead of me. The company has been successful in its quest to become a system integrator, and the growth has been phenomenal. Management treats each employee with candor and fairness, and is deeply committed to our development. Employees are given plenty of opportunities to achieve their full potential. I cannot think of a better company to work for. It’s my honor to be part of the Curtiss-Wright family.

I joined Curtiss-Wright Controls because it was the right opportunity at the right time. During my tenure, I’ve worked closely with the local team in crafting our strategic plan and evaluating new business opportunities, among other interesting projects. I am currently in programs and really enjoy working with our team to create value for both new and existing customers. The job requires a different perspective just about every day: customer service, project management, finance, supply chain, operations, quality, engineering and so much more. So, it’s a chance to make a difference by meeting new challenges every day.

I would recommend Curtiss-Wright Controls as a place for people who enjoy challenges and are motivated to help build the future. I also enjoy the team aspect. While not co-located, we have the opportunity to utilize capabilities and competencies of other Curtiss-Wright locations. For example, Littleton, Mass., reached out to the Shelby location to evaluate supply chain opportunities for the Textron Armored Security Vehicle (ASV) gear assembly. We leveraged big-company technology support in a highly successful local venue. And this is just one example of the many resources available to facilitate success for me personally and for our company as a whole.
