Unique Data Capture & TimestampOnly the Vortex family from Curtiss-Wright Controls offers the unique RapidReplay™ hardware system. This specialized hardware allows the SDRxE to capture incoming Gigabit Ethernet data frames and timestamp each frame at full GbE line rate. Curtiss-Wright’s RapidReplay time-stamping is accurate enough to perform detailed post-analysis of your valuable data. With pinpoint time-stamping prior to storage, you can play back your data via the GbE channels just like it was recorded.
Scalable Storage Supports Any Record Time Containing sixteen 450GB FC disks, one SBOD can provide 7.2TB of storage. Four channels of 125MB/s Gigabit Ethernet data (as in the SDR4E system) gives you nearly 4 hours of recording time. For more record time, another SBOD can be added. Equipped for 24/7 service with MTBF of >1,600,000 hours, Curtiss-Wright’s FC disks transmits time-stamped data to an external Vortex 3U SBOD for storage.
