VS-SBOD 3U Rack Mount Switched Bunch of Disks Storage System
The VS-SBOD is a 3U rack-mount, high-performance, storage device that can accommodate up to 16 low profile FC disk drives for up to 6.4 TB of storage. Using 1, 2 or 4 Gb/s Fibre Channel switched topology backplane and redundant quad initiator ports this 3U storage device can perform in a variety of switched loop configurations. In a four loop configuration the SBOD achieves an aggregate sustained throughput of 1.28 GB/s inner track performance.
It is a perfect partner to Curtiss-Wright’s Vortex data recorder family.
