Electronic Contract Manufacturing Services (EMS)
Curtiss Wright Controls Defense Solutions provides complete contract manufacturing services for a wide variety of industrial, medical and military customers. Curtiss-Wright’s engineering supported electronic contract manufacturing operation provides customer focused, on-time, high quality, high reliability assembly services for all electronics equipment.
Customers, who previously used other contract manufacturers, were often spending significant labor and cash resources managing and supporting their supply chain. Curtiss-Wright’s approach to contract electronics manufacturing is to save customers that wasted- “off-the books” spend by applying the resources upfront to get our supply chain and assembly processes set up correctly.
By co-locating our electronics manufacturing operations with test engineering and design engineering groups, Curtiss-Wright provides customer with a seamless technical support and the ability to perform technology insertion, obsolete component replacement redesign and design to cost refresh.
Curtiss Wright Controls Defense Solutions has over 25 years experience in the production of sophisticated Industrial, Medical and Military equipment. Curtiss-Wright is ready to all electronic assemblies including through hole and surface mount Circuit Card Assemblies, wire harnesses and box build.
Curtiss-Wright’s contract electronics manufacturing facility has undertaken a significant equipment refresh over the past 5 years. New screening, placement and reflow systems, along with verification equipment including X-ray and flying probe test, assure customers excellent placement, solder quality and complete component validation.
Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions provides customers with substantial value by reducing risks associated with multi-vendor assembly and test sequences. Our production facility includes in-house conformal coating, burn in, thermal cycling and vibration testing. Products built in our vertically integrated production facilities have less handling, less transportation and less risk of mishandling by inadequately trained staff at multiple partial process suppliers.
For volumes from one a year to thousands of units, Curtiss-Wright’s flexible assembly operation is arranged to meet customer cost, delivery and quality goals. |
