Digital Servo Motor Controller
Curtiss Wright Controls Defense Solutions developed a family of fully customizable Servo Motor Controllers that function with position control and axis motion for ground vehicle platforms. Single, dual and quad axis motion options are available. The Server Motor Controllers’ liquid-cooled chassis design allows high-power and high-density motor drive for vehicle components.
Curtiss-Wright Controls’ units include a position, velocity and torque mode capable PID controller that can be customized in real-time. Embedded software on the Servo Motor Controllers enables user-modified features such as motor tuning, reprogrammable upgrades over GbE, GUI with the Matlab interface (or the model can be replaced with user supplied Simulink model), loop parameters, fault monitoring and data logging.
