ADC128F1 — 8-Channel, 12-Bit, ±10 V, Simul-Sampling A-D Converter
Curtiss Wright Controls Defense Solutions’ ADC128F1 contains eight, 12-bit, A-D equipped channels, enabling the ADC128F1 to simultaneously sample groups of analog signals. Ensuring the highest possible accuracy, Curtiss-Wright Controls’ ADC128F1 minimizes accumulative analog errors. The modular design, in a single VME slot with the VMESC5 carrier, provides up to 40 channels of highperformance ADCs or, in a single PC slot with the ISASC6 carrier, up to 48 channels. For a more customized, modular I/O system solution, users can also mix the ADC128F1 with other IP Modules. Application Features
- Guarantee of both the relative accuracy and differential nonlinearity to ±1 LSB (max.)
- Automatic power-up of all eight ADC channels free running, updating the current value table
- Eight independent channels of 12-bit, switched capacitor SAR-based ADCs--all channels tightly-coupled for simultaneous sampling and conversion at a free-run rate of 11 5,942 samples/second/channel
- Single-ended inputs that can accept voltage inputs to ±10 volts, with an input resistance of 16 KΩ.
- Updates every 8.625 μs of the current value table, with no-wait read-on-the-fly IP Module accesses
- Hardware and software handshake interfaces to loosely and tightly couple other ADC128F1 IP Module together for large, ganged simul-sampling applications
