1 ATR Short Rugged Electronic System Enclosure

The Curtiss Wright Controls Defense Solutions ATR Series of machined electronic system enclosures are designed to meet the harsh environments of many military and industrial computing applications. Circuit cards installed in the system enclosures are isolated from external environmental conditions such as humidity, dust and sand.

Forced convection cooling results in efficient thermal transfer between the card edge of conduction-cooled boards and side walls of the system enclosure. EMI filters and gaskets are employed for system security and increased reliability. Enclosures are manufactured with high strength materials and fasteners.

Custom user requirements such as non-standard voltage power supplies, backplane wiring, special form factor footprints, custom enclosures, and extended environmental tests are available. This flexibility allows the designer to choose the most cost effective product to fit the application without putting deadlines at risk.

Curtiss-Wright Controls will manufacture system enclosures using customer-specified wiring, front panel connectors and back planes.
