The VORTEX 10GbE Data Playback system is an example of integration work performed by the Curtiss-Wright Application Group. This application of the Vortex Data Recording and Playback systems enables data recorded via the Vortex Open Recording system to be played back for data simulation purposes. The front end and storage of the data for the system can be any custom or standard input as established with all Open Recorders from Curtiss-Wright. Once the data is recorded, this 10GbE Playback system allows the user to reformat the data and playback the refor¬matted data over up to eight 10GbE output channels. In order to simulate realistic sensor data, the playback streams burst synchronized data. The Vortex 10GbE Data Playback System contains all components needed to playback these streams of data from a Fibre Channel JBOD storage device.
